Specialty Commercial Tarping: Compton
A crucial part of a dry out system is the containment. This protects moisture from entering the drying area. But what if you're project is under construction and has exposed walls and ceilings? Those areas need to be covered. This was a unique challenge, but not one we backed away from.
The exposed roof needed to be tarped and covered. But this was no standard roof tarping. Due to scaffolding, this tarp would have to be pitched, like a tent. This did two things... 1) It protected the roof from the elements and minor rainfall. 2) It created negative air pressure which helps with drying.
After multiple days of drying all the science and hard work paid off. The facility was dry, ready to progress to another stage of building.
